PROBLEM SOLVING COMPETITION POSTPONED TO MAY 2000

Competition is open to the following students -- (Non-professional student programmers only)

Elementary Division -- grades 5 and 6. (Students from grades 3 and 4 who are interested in competing should contact the registration co-ordinator.)
Junior High Division -- grades 7, 8, 9.
Senior High Division -- grades 10, 11, 12

Teams entering into the Creative and Problem Solving Competition will get a REFUND of their entry fee into the other competitions Art, Essay and Web Development Competitions   (one refund per competition per team). There is no fee for entering the LOGO competition.

I would like the Faculty of Engineering to provide a computer. I know that I am responsible for loading any necessary software. Warning, The Faculty of Engineering computer's run under the Microsoft NT operating systems. NT works very much in the same fashion as Windows 3.1 or Windows 95, but not all program will work under NT. For more information contact the System Administrator at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Steven Leikem

NOTE: It is the responsibility of the parent or teacher sponsoring the team to supervise the participants during the afternoon of the Competition.

An additional fee may be required to participate in these activities. Further information on the times of these activities will be made available later.

Saturday -- Creative Competition

Problem Solving Competition is postponed until May 2000

Teams entering into the Creative and Problem Solving Competition will get a REFUND of their entry fee into the other competitions Art, Essay and Web Development Competitions   (one refund per competition per team). There is no fee for entering the LOGO competition.

$25 per 2 person team, $20 per 1 person team

Entry fees assist in covering the cost of trophies, prizes and include a  LUNCH at the University Graduate Student Club, 3rd Floor McEwan Hall -- Lunch details to be confirmed.
